GENERAL

NAME:

This will be the name of the ship displayed in game. Merely for display. Will not be used anywhere else, go wild.


ID:

This will be the hullid of the ship. This id will be what the game looks for when referencing this ship. It will not use the above NAME. Becareful and remember what you put here as you will probably use this elsewhere.


CLASS:

Self Explanatory.


TECH:

Sets the Tech level the ship is, its not yet implemented on the current client (0.51a), at the moment it does nothing.


WIDTH:

Check CENTER.


HEIGHT:

Check CENTER.


CENTER:

DO THIS BEFORE YOU GO TO BOUNDS, HARDPOINTS AND ENGINES .

This affects width and height. You won't need to fill those above in yourself, but it does allow you some control. When you click around on the spaceship picture, a yellow cross will appear, when you think you've clicked the middle, hit "Set from Clicked" to move the pink dot to where you clicked. The width and height will now be filled in. The centre of your ship has been established.


SPRITE:

You will notice that this is set at default "path/to/sprite".The default path in the game will usually be graphics/ships/shipnamehere.png , Being the shipnamehere.png the name of the image you want for the ship.

NOTE: Make sure you linked a image "*.png" there, otherwise you'll get an error.


SHIELD RADIUS:

This controls how far your shields appear from the centre.The white circle is where the shield will appear. Put numbers into this until the white circle makes you happy.


SHIELD CENTER:

This is where the shield's center point.


COLLISION RADIUS:

This is divided in two parts. Make sure the ship is inside this circle.
